Supporting the Narragansett High School Eco Club

This year marks the third year of our partnership with the Narragansett High School Eco Club for their impactful Arbor Day initiative. Together, we’re bringing a vision to life by planting trees around the local community.

The Eco Club exemplifies the heart of environmental stewardship. Their efforts resonate far beyond the town, aiming to reduce the school’s carbon footprint while also fostering a greener, thriving environment. These young leaders have made it their mission to not only offset the high school’s paper use but also inspire meaningful action throughout the community.

Our tree donation program for Arbor Day allows us to support this important initiative while sending a strong message about the value of education, conservation, and collaboration. Through our partnership, we’ve supplied the trees for this year’s planting event on Saturday, April 26. These trees will represent a legacy of sustainability and care that grows year after year.

In 2021, we made it our mission to become carbon neutral. This effort was driven by our partnership with Verdis Group, which helped us calculate and offset 162 carbon credits through the Keo Seima Wildlife Sanctuary REDD+ project. This initiative not only allowed us to address our carbon footprint but also contributed to the preservation of vital ecosystems. By taking these steps, we’re not just aligning with global sustainability goals—we’re setting a precedent for meaningful change in our industry.

Our approach combines hands-on contributions, like sourcing trees for local planting initiatives, with forward-thinking solutions. With every step we take, we aim to spark broader conversations about how businesses and communities can collaborate for environmental conservation.
